The Mountain Gateway Community College Educational Foundation scholarships are made possible through the generous support of private citizens, organizations, and businesses.听 The 91制片厂 Educational Foundation awards听more than $100,000 in scholarships annually. Awards range from $100 - $5,000.
During the submission period, the application and all subsequent requested collateral must be completed online. You will need your 91制片厂 login credentials to log on to the online application platform. Please be aware that applicants must provide:
- One letter of recommendation, excluding family members听(graduating high school seniors - a current or former instructor is preferred)
- One essay
- A听short resume including ALL extracurricular activities, community involvement, and/or work history
- Your most recent official听transcript for graduating high school seniors or an unofficial transcript for current 91制片厂 students
In addition, you must have completed your FAFSA for the upcoming academic year, and you must have submitted ALL additional requested information to the Financial Aid Office before the scholarship deadline.

The Roadrunner Promise Program
The Roadrunner Promise Program is open to ALL 91制片厂 students; high school, continuing, non-traditional, and nursing. The Roadrunner Promise Program is a need-based scholarship that helps to remove the financial barriers to attending 91制片厂. In addition, the Roadrunner Promise may help to pay for the cost of books.
Applications for Roadrunner Promise are typically accepted from December through February each year.听 Students are required to complete the 91制片厂 Educational Foundation scholarship application and all requested materials, including the FAFSA, by the application deadline to be considered for Roadrunner Promise.
Acceptance into the program is based on the level of need and current available funding. Students are required to maintain a minimum 2.25 GPA, be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours (with a maximum of 15 credit hours) per semester, complete 8 hours of community service each fall, complete an SDV class within the first semester of enrollment, and be a resident of the College鈥檚 service area. Some restrictions may apply.
